Paraquat, an herbicide employed in agriculture since the 1960s for weed control, has in recent times been associated with a higher likelihood of Parkinson's disease. While the herbicide has faced prohibitions in the European Union, China, and various other nations, it remains extensively utilized in the United States.
1- At least 8 days of exposure to Paraquat via work or residence on a commercial farm
2- Subsequently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease
3- PQ exposure and Parkinson’s diagnosis occurred in the United States
4- Latency period of at least 5-7 years preferred between first exposure and diagnosis
5- No current legal representation
