Recent focus has turned to hair relaxers, powerful chemical blends designed to straighten curly or textured hair, amid concerns about a potential link to an elevated cancer risk. While these products have been widely used for many years, accumulating evidence now indicates that their prolonged usage may lead to negative health effects, including an increased likelihood of developing various cancers like uterine, ovarian, breast, and endometrial cancers.
1- Minimum of 4 uses per year for at least 5 years prior to diagnosis
2- Use of a chemical hair straightener/relaxer from a list of known brands
3- Diagnosis of one of the following: Uterine Cancer, Ovarian Cancer,
Uterine fibroids with invasive surgical intervention
4- Female claimants only
5- No current legal representation
